Hello, my name is Jasmine Hughes and I am a mother of 6 with 13 years of preschool teacher experience. I have an Associates of Science with a background in nursing and daycare management training through Penn Foster University. Previously, I spent 5 years operating my own in home daycare and I've also been a beloved teacher at companies such as Kindercare, Stretch n Grow, and Primrose Schools. Now I am serving the prosper community with educational services that cater to holistic families. I believe in learning through play, but I also believe that in learning everyday skills we are teaching, and preparing, our children for the actual world we live in. My program teaches children how to regulate their emotions, speak positively to themselves and others, and how to develop a healthy sense of self love. Our curriculum is built around chakra alignment, natural healing and spiritual consciousness. Through these focuses, we nurture your child's spiritual gifts and purpose. Members learn all of the above while learning basic skills and exploring the world around them. Our lessons are designed with enhancements that will teach your child language, math, science and the arts through mindfulness and sensory. Furthermore, I am THAT "crunchy mom". I own an herbal apothecary shop that sells non-toxic herbal products that are safe for our bodies and the environment. When creating Krunchy Kidz Association, I wanted to build a private learning center that reflects my crunchy practices and teachings, while also creating a safe space for the crunchy community to stay true to their beliefs. With that, all food I serve in my learning center is organic, non gmo and all household products are non toxic and plant based. Sometimes, even homemade!

 

I am excited to welcome you into our community. May this be the start of an organic relationship that blossoms into a long-term membership as our learning center grows and expands.
