KRUNCHY KIDZ ACADEMY

 

Hello, my name is Jasmine Hughes and I am a mother of 6 with 11 years of child care experience. I have an Associates of Science with a background in nursing and daycare management training through Penn Foster University. Previously, I spent 5 years operating my own in home daycare and I've also been a beloved teacher at companies such as Kindercare, Stretch n Grow, and Primrose Schools. Primrose Schools was home to me and my children for the past 5 years but it was time to return to my own operation, serving the prosper community with quality care that caters to holistic families. I believe in learning through play, but I also believe that in learning everyday skills we are teaching and preparing our children for the actual world we live in. My program teaches children how to regulate their emotions, speak positively to themselves and others, and how to develop a healthy sense of self love- all while learning basic skills and exploring the world around them. My curriculum is designed with enhancements that will also teach your child language, math, science and the arts at every age. Furthermore, I am known as a "crunchy mom". I own an herbal apothecary shop that sells non-toxic herbal products that are safe for our bodies and the environment. When creating Krunchy Kidz academy, I wanted to build a daycare school that reflects my crunchy ways and creates a safe space for the crunchy community to leave their children as they work. With that, all food I serve in my daycare is organic, non gmo and all household products are non toxic and plant based. I am excited to open up my home and extend our family to those who enroll into Krunchy Kids. I manifest that this will be the beginning of an enriched new center for many to call their daycare home!
